Restoration of the Townsend Telescope (Canterbury Television)

David Teece speaks to Canterbury Television about a donation for restoration of the University of Canterbury’s Townsend Telescope.

Townsend Observatory was part of the Arts Centre of Christchurch, New Zealand. The building collapsed in the February 2011 Christchurch earthquake. Dr. Teece and his wife, Leigh, have donated funds for restoration of the structure.
