Antitrust in an Election Year: Challenges Ahead

David Teece took part in a panel on “Digital Platforms: In Need of Regulation?” The session started with a talk with US Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.), conducted by Politico reporter Leah Nylen. Panelists then discussed what (if anything) should be done to regulate digital platforms, issues in antitrust and competition, and the evolution of the world economy. They reviewed existing regulations and the latest academic research and scholarly discussions on the subject.
